Icetrek Polar Equipment is made in limited quantities in workshops throughout Australia. Although many of our parts are made using automated machinery, every piece of equipment is hand assembled, quality-checked and proudly stamped with our logo. We only use premium materials in our products and utilise low-cost and/or recycled packaging and shipping where possible to minimise our impact on the environment. As such you may notice that for many of our products we prioritise a hand-made look and feel over a factory-finishing. This is a sign of artisan and boutique manufacturing and serves to enhance the function and dependability of your purchase.
Our Artisans
The people who manufacture our products are outdoor people too. Our sleds are made by kayakers and trail riders, our ski bindings by cavers, mountain bikers, anglers and trail runners, our sewing machinist is a climber and skier. They use outdoor equipment frequently and therefore understand Icetrek's need to produce quality, robust and good looking products. And of course our designers live and breathe cold-climate adventuring.
