Trekking Food and diet

The diet for our Australian trips is modified from our polar diet.

While being less in calories than our cold-climate polar diet, it provides adequate energy to sustain trekkers on our Australian winter and Greenland summer trips.

We cater for vegetarian and vegan diets however vegan dinner choices are limited. We can also cater for most food allergies and intolerances.

Our typical daily diet consists of:

Breakfast Lunch and Snacks Evening
Our famous oat-based 'breakfast bomb'.
(Allergens include gluten [oats], dairy, nuts)
We also have delicious gluten or dairy-free brekkie bomb options.
Instant soup
(Allergens may include wheat, gluten, dairy)
Potato Crisps
(Allergens may include wheat, gluten, dairy, soy)
Beverage - tea, coffee, choc
(Allergens may include wheat, gluten, dairy, soy)
Dry crackers
(Allergens may include wheat, gluten, dairy, nuts)
Freeze-dried meal
(For allergens see dinners order list)

Energy bars
(Allergens may include wheat, gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, sulphites)
Chocolate
Cheese (or veg equivalent)
Beverage
Salami (or veg equivalent)
