Trekking Food and diet

The diet for our Australian trips is modified from our polar diet.

While being less in calories than our polar diet, it provides adequate energy to sustain trekkers on our Australian trips.

Our typical Australia trip daily diet consists of:

Breakfast Lunch and Snacks Evening
Instant Porridge or muesli/granola with powdered milk
Instant soup Potato Crisps
Beverage - tea, coffee, choc
Dry crackers
Freeze-dried meal

Energy bars
Chocolate
Cheese
Beverage
Salami

Chocolate
Scroggin - nuts, dried fruit, lollies
