Kelvin Polar Mittens

Made from tough 100% polyamide (nylon), the shell keeps the elements out and protects the inner mitt from wear and tear. Tough reinforced palm and thumb feature rubberised dots for grip.

The long gauntlet stops cold air from getting to vulnerable wrists and is generous enough to cover the bulkiest sleeve.

To retain the air painstakingly warmed by your hand our mitt has an elasticated wrist and cinchable drawcord on the gauntlet, and a toggled wrist loop for security.

Made from thick eVent®️ fleece, Kelvin's inner is water and windproof, breathable, super warm and easy to dry. We prefer a fleece inner because it doesn't lose loft, is hard-wearing, can be easily turned inside out for faster drying and it's weather capability means it can be used as a stand-alone mitt.

We invented the mitten Pull Loop - if you see this feature on any other mitt, they copied it from us! Attached to the inner mitt, the Pull Loop makes it easy to get your mitts on when it's super cold and eliminates bunching of the inner when you slide damp sticky hands into the mitt.

The Pull Loop is long enough to get your other mitt through and doesn't require any dexterity, great for extreme-cold conditions.

We recommend adding an optional neck lanyard to your Kelvin mitts to round out the best extreme cold hand system on Earth.

Kelvin mitts come with the traditional wrist leashes, so if prefer not to use the Neck Lanyard simply attach the leashes to the shock cord next to the Icetrek puller.
