#4: moving!

And we’re off, our first polar trip in over 2 years. We drove out to Eskerfossen (frozen waterfall) in two oversnow vehicles, passing by reindeer, snow capped ridges and the occasional cabin. Having arrived at 3.30pm we skied for under an hour before setting up camp. First night is always slow and cumbersome and we had to give ourselves lots of time given the short days of early spring. Everyone did super well. Faint aurora to the east tonight.
