#7: onto the glacier

The blizzard abated overnight and we woke to a still and glorious morning with sun drenching the valley. After pack up we ran a basic tutorial on crevasse rescue before gliding up the valley, flanked both sides by mighty ridges. It seems everyone loved the blizzard experience judging by the amount of videos and photos on phones. Each evening we airdrop our collections to each other. Tonight I’m in the ‘circus tent’ with Helen, Inga and Mardi and we’re all on our phones, checking out the shots of the day. From Fulmar Valley we climbed south up the Marmor Glacier, skinning laboriously through deep snow until we found a flat site to set up camp. Tired but elated with our elevated view.
