#2: Getting slammed

After the 2 hour Hagglunds drive to Sassendslen we visited the frozen waterfall before skiing a half hour to the valley floor. A 3.30pm camp gave us time enough to set up tents and polar bear perimeter fence in increasing wind. After a final briefing we dived into the shelter of our tents as long tails of drift grow downwind of us. Getting slammed but Hilleberg tents are built for such weather. An epic first night.
